sustainable Music & Mind Festival passionate about people and the planet.

As MSc sustainability grads, we know how difficult it is to get things right for the planet, and we want to do our part to make a difference.

We want to let you know how to let your hair down without letting Attenborough down. We CAN party hard and still give a damn.

Sustainability is not just about the planet itself, it relates to how we are living our lives, including our physical & mental wellbeing.

We want to speak openly about "burning-out" and break down the barriers and stigmas associated with Mental Health. We want everyone to understand that its OK to talk about these things.

Amongst the festivities and in collaboration with experts in their respective fields, we will plant the seeds with almighty talks, workshops and storytelling, in the hope that you will leave feeling inspired to be the best you that you can be.

Both founders have been diagnosed with mental illnesses at some stage of their lives and a major problem for us as founders was our lack of awareness, understanding and knowledge of Mental Health Issues, that resulted in years of undiagnosed suffering.  We are aware personally and professionally of the rising Mental Health Issues across the world. According to the World Health Organisation by 2030 depression is predicted to become the number one cause of disease burden worldwide. Pando Festival stemmed from how we dealt with our darkest nights and has enabled us to bring you our brightest dawn.

Pando Festival is named after the Pando tree which appears, to the naked eye, to be a forest of standalone trees. However, under the surface, they are connected by one root system making it a single organism. As founders we fell in love with the concept that although as people we are all individuals, deep down we are all connected to each other and the planet, we are one!
