This special treat for Birmingham Jazz of a duo of the two finest musicians in the UK today. John Parricelli hails from Evesham is a guitarist who has worked in the United Kingdom and across Europe with Lars Danielsson bands. He began his career as a guitarist in 1982. He was one of the founding members of the British big band Loose Tubes, with whom he recorded three albums. Mark is a saxophonist and composer who also first came to prominence in the mid 1980s with the influential big band Loose Tubes. In 1992 Mark formed the eclectic co-led quartet Perfect Houseplants, a group that released six albums, he also became a member of Polar Bear, again recording of 6 recordings. Both have made their name as outstanding in demand or prolific artists, a real treat for Birmingham Jazz.
