Description

Tokyo World has quickly become a staple of the Bristol and UK festival scene, and never fails to close the season with a bang. The festival takes place in mid-September for 2019 in Bristol's Eastville Park, and headliners such as Action Bronson, Sister Sledge, Wu-Tang Clan, and Wilkinson have topped the festival's in previous years.

Tokyo World has always been known as a festival on the forefront of modern music, with a focus on contemporary artists pushing new sounds. It goes without saying that the Mutiny Stage always delivers a stellar line up Drum and Bass artists, including last year's main headliner Andy C. What's more, the Hedonism Stage has hosted a cutting edge selection of House royalty, with: Erick Morillo, Maya Jane Coles, Jeff Mills, Kerri Chandler and Danny Tenaglia.

The festival integrates the full scope of both innovative and timeless music, but also of music fans and festival goers: fans of Hip Hop and Grime have been able to enjoy sets by Ace Hood, Lethal Bizzle, Little Simz, Nadia Rose, and Lady Leshurr. Tokyo World always delivers a daringly eclectic line-up with an added dimension of many more live bands, which in the past included Submotion Orchestra, Morcheeba, Groove Armada, Stereo MC's and Bristol's very own Laid Blak.
