Following last year's superb show at the Actress & Bishop, we get another chance to see The Real People in an intimate acoustic setting. You can expect a set full of Realies classics along with rarities from their huge back catalogue and a few stories behind the songs and the characters they met along the way. They are masters of the song writing art and it shows in how well their songs translate to the acoustic treatment.

The brothers Chris and Tony Griffiths can rightly hold claim to be the godfathers of Brit Pop being hugely influential in the development of Oasis and OCS amongst others. No less a figure than Alan McGee recently acknowledged their mentorship of Oasis and named 3 Oasis songs "Columbia, Rockin Chair and Don't Go Away" where there were "direct song connections".

See for yourself, but frankly there'd be no Oasis without The Real People

Special support comes from another Liverpool legend Edgar Jones the lead singer of The Stairs (Mexican RnB, Weed Bus), who was nominated for a Mercury Music Prize for his album Soothing Music For Stray Cats.

Ed has worked with everyone from Paul Weller to James Skelly of The Coral, Mike Badger and Paul Hemmings from The La's and played bass for other prominent artists, including Ian McCulloch, Johnny Marr, Paul Weller, Saint Etienne and Love, and has toured with Grammy Award winning Robert Cray and Jools Holland & His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.

He has achieved legendary status as a Liverpool-based singer-songwriter and musician with a distinctive style of Garage Punk, Rock, Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues and 60s Inspired Pop. He has a cult following including high profile fans, such as Liam Gallagher, Craig Charles, Martin Freeman and Daniel Radcliffe.
