The Night Owl proudly presents...

The Proctors

The Proctors developed a loyal international fan base in the years following the 1993 release of two 7" singles and then an album on Sunday Records (USA) in 1995 without playing live. Following a "one off" comeback gig in 2009 the band were offered a slot at the Indietracks festival in Derbyshire and following a 3 encore set there was no turning back! Next an offer of a 7" Vinyl/mp3 Single on Shelflife Records (USA) featuring new tunes "All The Books" and "Morning Light", followed by a full album "Everlasting Light" released on Vinyl and CD, featuring Terry Bickers from creation records "House of Love" on guitar after a chance meeting. Both releases sold out quickly. The band were invited to play at New York Popfest in 2014, And many European and UK dates since this have included Berlin, London, Birmingham, Brighton, Hamburg, Milan, Rome, Copenhagen, Paris and Madrid.

The album "Everlasting Light" has been described as "Jangle Pop Masterpiece" and an "Indiepop Classic" no less!

Another 7 inch single "letters to the girl "was released on Shelflife records in 2018 (the fastest selling release on Shelflife according to the label) and last years 7 inch on Dreams Never End records of Berlin "silhouettes" saw the band moving in a Shoegaze direction.
