Saturday 25th January,

We are delighted to welcome back...

The Deep Six: EP launch party

Lead vocalist Mark McGounden was the main singer / songwriter with one of Stiff Records finest signings: Makin' Time who put out many of the hippest releaded of the third wave of Mod bands. Albums like "Rhythm & Soul", "No Lumps Of Fat Or Gristle Guaranteed" and singles "Here Is My Number", "Feels Like It's Love", "Pump It Up" etc.

Paul Hooper-Keeley also fronted another much-loved band: The Threads, the Lincolnshire group who played all over the country and further afield gathering a large following and releasing, again, a fine string of 45s and albums.

Rather than sit idle with all this creativity, the duo have created another band who are now signed to Heavy Sou! Records: THE DEEP SIX.

The band also comprises of Niall Keohane aka Pete Flatwound and
Neil Clitheroe.

"Pure 60s Mod coolness"

With support from the iconic 80s mod band

Yeh Yeh

& very special guest Simon Stebbing

Part of what is considering one of the best mod revival bands Purple Hearts, Simon Stebbing has been paving the way for mod since 1977. He's also seen fame in The 79ers, a supergroup featuring members from The Chords and Long Tall Sally.
