Snowdrops 2021 Closure
It is with a heavy heart that we have now decided to cancel our annual Snowdrop event. With the lockdown regulations becoming stricter by the day we feel that it would be irresponsible to remain open for the Walks.
We were sincerely hoping that the Snowdrop Walk at Rode would be able to provide a bit of respite into a gloomy February but it is sadly not going to be possible.
We are so sorry if you have already booked your tickets, you will be able to get a face value refund by contacting Ticketsellers
In the meantime stay safe and well and we look forward to seeing everyone at Bluebell time!
One of the best Snowdrop Walks in the North
In these uncertain times the arrival of Snowdrops is a sure sign that Spring is on its way and our wonderful Snowdrop walk is a sight to behold with the cascading drifts of white in the Old Wood.
A beautiful end-of-winter walk for all the family with a wonderfully diverse landscape and over 70 varieties of snowdrops. Walk along paths amidst carpets of white flowers on an enchanting mile-long route .Highlights are also the two acre Walled Kitchen Garden and an unmissable vista down the Colonel's Walk where some of the rarest varieties can be seen.
The courtyard kitchen, complete with flaming woodburner is open serving homemade cakes, lunches and refreshments.
