Gip and Lubi, the original Leeds jazz/funk/Latin/Dancefloor Jazz DJs, are legends of the UK club scene. Since the mid-1980s, they have shaped the musical landscape of Leeds and beyond, inspiring jazz, soul, funk, and global beats enthusiasts across cities like Liverpool, Manchester, and London.
Their iconic club nights-Jazz At The Coconut Grove, Afro Blue, Downbeat, Club Afro Latino, and Dig Dis-brought dancefloor jazz back into clubs, blending DJ sessions with live performances.
