Description

Join us for a private evening tour of two of Birmingham's oldest buildings in atmospheric candlelight. Learn how George Cadbury saved and rebuilt Selly Manor and Minworth Greaves in the early 20th century, as we uncover rare photographs and documents from the museum's archives.

See the stunning collection of 16th and 17th century furniture and objects as you explore Selly Manor. Our guides will focus on the decoration, provenance and use of these practical and beautiful artefacts. Plus, hear how the museum collection was brought to Bournville by Laurence Cadbury. Round off the evening with a warming drink and delicious cake in the medieval hall of Minworth Greaves.

Thursday 30th January 2020, 6.30pm and 8pm.

£7.50 per person. Booking essential - please call 0121 472 0199 or visit Selly Manor to purchase your tickets.

Accessibility: The tour takes place throughout Selly Manor which has steep stairs and uneven floors. You will find detailed information about accessibility of the site on our Your Visit page of our website.
