The Midnight City Soul Band
Midnight City Soul Band are a five piece soul band playing a mix of classic northern soul & Motown grooves. The band have been playing together in and around the Birmingham area for almost thirty years. The big sound and spontaneous excitement which they stir up on stage reflects their lifelong love of soul music.
From the off the band set the atmosphere with classic tracks such as uptight, seven days too long, do I love you, green onions, time is tight all delivered with heart and soul.
The sound is big and full, Hammond organ, tenor sax, bass, lead guitar and drums; one of the most powerful and soulful musical line-ups to come out of Birmingham.
