Kaleidoscope presents...

Dumbo Gets Mad plus supports

Doors open at 7pm

Dumbo Gets Mad is a psychedelic pop project based in Italy, and founded in 2011 in Los Angeles by Luca Bergomi with the release of his debut album Elephants at the Door. Plumy Tale, the first single released from the album, was nominated by Pitchfork for their top 50 tracks on 2011, and Marmalade Kids was picked as song of the day by NPR.

2013 saw the release of their second album, Quantum Leap. This album is even more textured than the previous and it explores a wide range musical genres, resolving in a mind blowing psychedelic jam. Indian Food, the lead single from the album, is the bands most successful release to date and it forged a definitive coronation of the band's sound.

Thank You Neil, released in 2015, is a more soulful record, inspired by American astrophysicist, author, and scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson. Recorded live, the album shows a more elegant, minimalist approach to the production and received critical acclaim on its release.

Dumbo Gets Mad's most recent album, Things Are Random and Time is Speeding Up was released in February 2021, and sees the band return to their musical roots stylistically.
