Electric Dreams Festival Weekend
1000 Trades, 16 Frederick Street, Jewellery Quater, B1 3HE
The musical lineage of jazz has always included mixing genres, crossing boundaries and making a creative shift in the art form - and often other forms too. This short festival picks up this theme and explores electric jazz, as opposed to acoustic, in new formations but with a glance back to the pioneers of electrified music. It will also give the opportunity for emerging talent to express themselves, including a group of French Students and the return of Swedish stars.
