DIE DAS DER are delighted to kick off their 2020 season with a strong line-up - featuring 3 home bands, and 2 first time out-of-towners.

Coming down especially from Teeside (Billingham) are the awesome MOUSES for what could well be their first appearance in the 2nd City. CLASH magazine called their debut album "Essential listening" and gave it 8/10. Louder than War have sung their praises, and the duo have blazed a trail across the North of England leaving thoroughly entertained crowds in their wake.

Also we are delighted that the awesome GROTBAGS - "The Greatest Band In The World" - will be making their Birmingham debut for us too. Their debut album is being released on February 14th by Dipped In Gold records (the label that is the brainchild of former Too Pure Singles Guru, Paul Riddlesworth) - they're already making waves on 6Music,and 2020 is going to be a year that you hear a LOT about this bunch. Don't miss out on jumping on the bandwagon at this early and intimate juncture! (Some of you are still smarting from missing out that time we had Idles play in a beer garden to 30 people... let that occurence be a lesson to you!)

Filling out the line-up we have 3 of our finest local bands. Muthers' very own EXOTIC PETS will be teasing you ahead of the release of their debut EP, post-punk poets FAUXCHISELS will be trailing more new material from their upcoming second LP, and Telford's famous post-hardcore sons WAX FUTURES will no doubt be reinforcing their place as one of the best live bands the Midlands currently has to offer.

So, c'mon down to Muthers. Friday 31st January. It's your first pay-day of the year, so we expect to see you in a bright and cheery mood!

Advance tickets £5 (inc. booking fee).
A bit more on the door.
