Description

You are cordially invited to join Cut A Shine for Burns Night in 2019.

Cut A Shine are a stalwart London based Ceilidh and Barn Dance band and have now hosted dances across the capital and at leading festivals for 15 years. Join us this Burns Night at The Round Chapel in Hackney for a dance of epic proportions. Beginners are always welcome at our dances and you don't need to know any of the moves in advance - we have dance "callers" to instruct all in the moves for every dance, until we're all swinging and dancing like professionals!

Food and Drink: We've recruited a top chef to plate up the finest Haggis Neeps and Tatties this side of the border with the utmost efficiency and expertise, so no waiting around! This is not a sit down Burns Supper, and traditional food will be available buffet style. we will be stocking some mighty fine Single Malts alongside fine local ales, farmhouse cider and a selection of top shelf spirits.

Traditions: We will pause during the night for the traditional toasts to the Haggis, and toasts to one and all at the dance. This night will respect traditions but will be presented in a non-heteronormative way, and all and everyone is welcome to attend our dance.
