Jazz Club

ARQ lead Alison Rayner has had a lengthy career as a bass player and composer. Now as leader, she ties together many of the strands of her numerous musical influences. A long-time Charlie Haden admirer as well as a Jaco Pastorius and Stanley Clarke fan. Alison will be playing the acoustic bass for this band and is supported by some of the most accomplished musicians in the UK today. Expect terrific grooves, poignant melodies and fluid improvisation. The influences as diverse as funk, folk and Afro-Cuban dance music.
